What this site and a purchase collect, and what we keep.

Who is responsible

This website

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or trackers. Every page but the checkout runs no scripts and loads nothing from other servers. It is served by Cloudflare with logging turned off and no log export, so we keep no access log; Cloudflare handles each request to deliver it.

The checkout

The checkout page loads Paddle's checkout from Paddle's servers. Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, receives your payment details, name, email address and country, under its own privacy notice, and sets the cookies its checkout needs. We never see your card.

When the payment completes, the page collects your licence from our licence service with a random code it made for this purchase. The code carries nothing about you; it lets the page, and Reef if you bought from it, pick up the licence once it is issued.

What we keep

From Paddle we receive the order: its number, the app, the amount, and Paddle's customer number, which we keep with the licence so we can help with a lost licence, a refund or a chargeback. The licence itself holds no personal data: the app checks it on the phone, offline.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by writing to privacy@reefstore.app. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
